What I’m Made Of

The sun and the moon

Breathe from my heart, dear

My hair spills around me like sparking mists

The blood in my veins is the river

In which frozen angels swim

A thousand dying sunsets

Sleep on my skin

My laughter floats like clouds

On a peaceful summer day.

And my thoughts erupt,

Like thunderous volcanoes

You can’t touch me until I let you, you see.

You have no idea what I’m made of.
